Testing Center Updates

Temporary Hours: In response to the growing COVID-19 emergency and the shelter-in-place order, the HSU Testing Center will be operating on limited hours.  We will be monitoring our email daily, Monday - Friday. You may email us at testing@humboldt.edu.

The following Testing services have been CANCELLED until further notice

  • Prometrics Exams  (i.e., GRE, TOEFL, and PRAXIS)

Beginning April 17th, the following services will be CANCELLED.

  • PearsonVue Exams (i.e., CBEST, CSET, RICA, NREMT, etc.,)
  • PSI Exams 

TENTATIVE Testing Dates for PearsonVue exams have been opened beginning June 9. If the shelter-in-place order has NOT been lifted in June, these exams will need to be cancelled. 

GWPE Update (March 30, 2019)

GWPE: All on-campus GWPEs have been cancelled and students have been refunded. Graduating seniors please contact GWPE Coordinator Nicolette Amann at nca1@humboldt.edu for information. All other students can register for and take the GWPE in Fall 2020. Thank you for your patience.

The Humboldt State University Testing Center is an important resource for the University and for Humboldt County and its surrounding communities. The Testing Center administers campus-specific exams, CSU system-wide tests, and national standardized tests to current and prospective students.
